Scientific affirmation of the fact that:

Parenting Greatness’ takes a loving, virtuous family

Whenever I speak of the findings from the Greatest Generation and the fact that it was the family that was the formidable factor in their children becoming great, I hear groans from the intelligence who demand scientific proof.
Ok, here is the first scientific evidence by a scientist himself. James Fallon a neuroscientist at UC Irvine as a part of a research project was sifting through anatomical patterns in the brain that pointed to psychopathic patterns. Looking into his own brain scan looking to see if there were any patterns that pointed to Alzheimer. However, when in the stack of scans, he saw a clear pattern of a psychopathic brain. It was his own.
In a book, The Psychopath Inside, Fallon seeks to figure out why he, a happily married family man, did not show the patterns of behavior that are revealed in most people with the same brain functions.
He came to a terrifying conclusion that he was truly a psychopath, but as it is termed a ‘good psychopath’. Fallon realized through a family line that included seven alleged murders that he was genetically susceptible to psychotic violent behavior. However, he questioned what is it that made him a good man, a good family man, and a benefit to society not a terror.
This was his conclusion! He believes that his childhood helped prevent him from traveling the terrible violent path. He said, “I was loved, and that protected me!”
He found that not only is he affected by genetics and family, that there was a third factor, Free Will. Based on his home which taught right behavior and virtuous living he chose to follow this path. (Adapted from an article by Joseph Stromberg in Smithsonian Presents Brain Matters 2025)
Parenting Greatness is not a fad or a quick fix study, but a foundation for building a strong healthy family that Parents Greatness even with children which might be genetically crippled. I invite you to study the truth which is relative to today and watch what can happen to your family and your children.
